OUR NEW RESTORATION PROJECT, A VERY SPECIAL 1967 Z/28
| On October 23, 2008, we attended our second NHRA race with the new 1967 Z28 Camaro at the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic in Monton, PA. On the very first run Thursday morning, we came within .090 (nine hundredths) of the NHRA national record (10.56) in D/Stock running a 10.65 at 123 mph. Our second pass was even better running 10.64 at 124.08 mph. In 2009, we will try and set a new national record in the D/Stock class. Thanks to all who have helped make this 1967 Z28 a very competitive race car in 2008. |
